Everything you need to set up, use, maintain, and troubleshoot your WAT Shower — in clear, accessible language.

📋 Quick Start Guide

Get your WAT Shower assembled and ready to use in under 45 minutes.

Before You Begin

  • Clear a flat, level surface of at least 5 × 5 feet
  • Ensure access to a standard water source (faucet, garden hose, or use reservoir)
  • Have a standard electrical outlet nearby for the pump
  • Lay down the provided floor mat / drainage liner

Step-by-Step Assembly

  1. Unpack components: Remove all panels, ramp, grab bars, pump unit, and hardware from packaging.
  2. Position the base: Place the shower base/tray on the prepared surface. Ensure it is level.
  3. Connect ramp: Attach the entry ramp to the base. Secure the locking mechanism.
  4. Install wall panels: Starting from the back, connect the modular wall panels using the interlocking system. Leave the access side open or add the removable caregiver panel.
  5. Attach grab bars: Mount grab bars in the provided mounting points. Test each bar for secure fit.
  6. Set up water system: Connect the pump to your water source. Fill the reservoir if using portable mode. Attach the shower head.
  7. Set temperature: Adjust the thermostatic valve to your preferred temperature (factory preset: 100°F / 38°C).
  8. Test: Run the system briefly to check water flow, temperature, and drainage before first use.

💡 Tip: For first-time setup, we recommend having a second person help with wall panel installation to make alignment easier. After the first assembly, most users can do it alone.
